The Annual Washington-Wilkes Tour Of Homes is the first Saturday of April each year. You're invited to visit several historical private homes, local churches, the Mary Willis Library, the Robert Toombs House, the Washington Historical Museum, and Callaway Plantation as well as a number of other attractions.
The Little Theater presents an outstanding production each year, usually on Friday, the evening before the tour, and on Saturday evening after the tour at The Playhouse on North Alexander Avenue.
Park your car at headquarters and friendly volunterrs in tour cars will take you to homes and other sites. This is a free service for your convenience and to minimize traffic congestion.
Lunch will be served at the Washington Women's Club at Noon--$10.00 per person. Paid reservations are required. The First United Methodist Church of Washington will also be serving lunch at 11:00--$10.00 per. And the Episcopal Church of the Mediator will be serving "sandwiches and stuff" starting at 11:00
